Our mission is preservation of equipment and history, particularly related to Colorado and the local region. The museum has full-sized steam and diesel locomotives with passenger, freight, and special cars on display behind the depot. There are museum displays in the Heritage Center. The famous "joint line" of the BNSF and UP runs by the museum with over 25 trains per day, making it a great train watching spot.
